SPF, DKIM and DMARC

It is necessary to set up SPF and DKIM when using Heysender. It is also possible to send DMARC aligned e-mail using Heysender.

You will be guided on what to include in your SPF and DKIM configuration when setting up a domain in Heysender.

The SPF record includes the mailservers you use when sending e-mail through your domain and the DKIM key is used to sign the e-mail cryptographically to make sure the entire content has not been modified on it’s way from sender to recipient.

DMARC is a way of receiving automatic reports when an e-mail is sent without either SPF or DKIM settings using your domain. Thus, after adding Heysender to your SPF configuration and setting up the DKIM public key all e-mail being sent from Heysender is DMARC aligned.

You can read more about SPF, DKIM and DMARC on Wikipedia.
