To setup Heysender in your Prestashop, you can use their option for setting a custom SMTP. In Prestashop navigate to Advanced parameters > E-mail
Now select Set my own SMTP parameters (for advanced users ONLY), you are now able to configure a custom SMTP server.
You now need to configure the SMTP credentials. Let’s go through them together.
Email domain name: Leave the field blank
SMTP server: Set this value to smtp.heysender.com
SMTP username: Set this value to the name of the SMTP user you wish to send emails from(haven’t setup you SMTP user yet? Click here)
SMTP password: Set this value to the password that corresponds the SMTP user you are using.
Please note that if you do not know the password and wish to regenerate one. This will effect any other place you might be using the SMTP user
Encryption: At Heysender we are using TLS
Port: Set this value to 25, 2525 or 587
Now save your settings.
Lastly you can test your setup by sending a test mail to your preferred e-mail address.
Now your transactional e-mails are sent through Heysender. This means that you can now see all e-mails in the log overview. Should an e-mail not reach it’s destination you can see in the log why. And you can even resend the e-mail to the recipient.
